Got the email from Cigar.com. Checked my local and he doesn't have them online yet but maybe he just hasn't updated. I know if he doesn't have them yet he will soon. Going to wait and get some to try from hiim.

Let's start this out by saying like many I had great anticipation for the Nub Maduro. I love the Nub Habano and the Oliva V. I usually rave about Oliva. In fact i wrote a pre-release review of the Oliva V, four months before it came out for Cigar Live, raving about the stick. Two days ago I had the chance to try the Nub Maduro in West Palm Beach. It is an Oliva. It burns great but what a disappointment on the Maduro wrapper. Hoping for a sweet finish on the Maduro I got instead a bitter charry taste throughout the whole stick. If there were notes of chocolate, it was bitter chocolate. I smoked it slow in hopes it would change up and that just wasn't the case. Another in the shop lit up the stick the same time I did and had the exact same experiece. We both looked at each other and said "Is it me or is this cigar just not good." I finished mine to the end which wasn't the case for the other guy who tossed it. This would not be my choice for an Oliva. It is possible we both got some bad sticks from this box, but I hardly think that is the case. If you like a sweet maduro I don't think this stick is for you. I would be curious to see how others on Puff.com evaluate this stick.

Steve,
The wrapper on the Nub Maduro is a Brazilian, the wrapper on all other Oliva's is a CT Broadleaf. Maybe your just not a fan of Brazilian Maduro? Everyone's taste buds are different, me personally, I get a spicyness out of the wrapper and a little bit of a mocha flavor from it, both of which I love.
