Yes. Overhyped, overpriced. Nice though.

Re: God of fire

i ment to do a review on top25 but i forgot to enter it as a new smoke (DOn Carlos robusto)

It is over priced and hyped and it tastes in between a Hemmy and a DC. nothing too unique. Ill tell you though its the Casa Fuente thats the Gem of the Fuente specialtys. Ive had plenty of OpusX's, a few Anejos, the Hemmingway Maduro, both GOFires and the Casa Fuente robusto was freaking amazing.

Great cigar...great flavor, perfect draw and burn...but not worth $25+....JMHO.

How much do the casa fuentes go for when you buy them in the store?

I see a cbid auction for a single that is up to $25

I paid $25 for the new Torpedo in the line. You will pay close to $20 for any of them there, so $25 isn't an awful price if you can't go to Vegas. Still don't think they are worth that price though, when you could smoke 3 Hemingway Classicos for the price.

Supply and demand I guess. They are creating a demand by limiting the supply and people willing to pay more... Go figure. I love how they look though.

Re: God of fire

For those wondering the Corona sized casa fuente's house smokes are $18 each and are good, but overpriced. Ive never had a GOF, but they had them at casa fuente, for only $35.00 each.

Re: God of fire

I saw them at Casa Fuente in Vegas and the guy in the shop told me they were strong as hell, a little on the rough side. Too much money for me to pay for something I'm not going to totally enjoy.

Re: God of fire

I bought them just because I'd never had em.. I liked the casa's, but they weren't worth 18 bucks each, thats for sure. The main reason that I don't buy a GOF or two is because I don't see them being worth the price.

Re: God of fire

Thanks alot for the input fellow cigar lovers.I've smoked quite a few opus, anejos and ash.vsgs it sounds along those lines, which tells me I should'nt feel left out if I don't get to try one.And btw is any one cigar worth 20 or 30 clams?Tough call for me,maybe a P.A.M.26#1 even then...

Anyone else get the feeling Crazy has too much money to burn??? J/K Hoping that one of my next vacations will be to Vegas, so I can experience the whole Casa Fuente vibe in it's entirety. The wifes pushing for Mexico first though!!
