Re: Which TAT?

It's hard to go wrong with any Tat. The brown labels are just awesome. If you want to try something a little smaller go witht he Red label Angel, its a little firecracker. If you can get your hands on a Cojonu 2003 or a Veracu those are great also. If you ever see one grab a Frank or the Black, those are the best but extremely hard to get.

Im with Andrew on this (Jack Straw), but there really arent any bad ones. To my palette, the best of Pepins efforts.

That is definitely the best Red Label Tat to buy! If you want the full Tat experience you will need to buy the Brown Labels. I would recommend the Regios which is the Robusto size & also the Noellas which is the corona size. Either of those should serve as a nice introduction. You will probably be ready to try the Cojonu's after that. The Tat Browns are delicious smokes...

Re: Which TAT?

I have only had the pleasure to smoke 1 Tatuaje, and it was a brown label, I believe the robusto size. Needless to say, I really loved it. Pure cigar love making. If you have the means, by all means...

Re: Which TAT?

For your first foray into Tatuaje I would recommend the Noellas. Enjoy!!!

I recommend El Triumphador Lancero that is under the Tatuaje line. They are good.

Re: Which TAT?

I just picked up a sampler of Tat Havana Verocu #9 made especially for Holts (red band). I can't tell it apart from an ISOM Cohiba. Fantastic smoke. I'm hooked.

I really like the whole red line. The browns are great of course, but will cost you.

Re: Which TAT?

To me, all Tats are great. But as to what I'd recommend, it depends on your price range and strength preference. The red label (Havana VI) line is awesome and medium in body (though rather peppery), and the Victorias and Angeles are the best imho. For the brown label, I'd recommend the Noella--which tastes better than any isom that I have smoked. The Tatuaje P1 is probably one of the better $3 retail smokes out there, imvho.

For a maduro, an El Triunfador, Cabaiguan Maduro, or La Riqueza are all great. If you want sometime milder in body, try a Cabaiguan--my favorite Connecticut-wrapped cigar.

If you can get lucky enough to score a Verocu #1 or #2 (also called the East Coast and West Coast), then GET IT! Those are probably my favorite cigars on the planet!!!!!!!!!

I love all TATS except the white label but go with the Frank. If you can find one.
