Anyone try any of these yet? If I'm not mistaken its a relatively new cigar. Pepin makes these for Ashton. I'm a big Pepin fan. Was looking forward to trying one of these.

I think a lot of members here like them. I smoked one and it was pretty good. I like the La Aroma de Cuba Especial Edicion a lot more. I believe Pepin blended that one for Ashton as well. Try it if you have not had it before.

I've been wanting to try the La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial. I've heard great things about them. They look so good in the catalogs and from reviews.

Pepin really gets around... I was looking through a Holts catalog and he makes about 10-15 different cigars for different companies other than his own. Unbelievable. I really enjoyed the Old Henry's. They were great.

Re: San Cristobal

i have been wanting to try the SanCristobal too. I 2nd the Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial. One of my favorite Pepin blends. They are a bit pricy--my B&M sells them for around 7-8$, but worth it imo. (shouldn't say that too loud. I want them to come down in price. )

I've been smoking them for a couple of years and love them. The Fantastico and Classico are a great cigars. Also the ISOMs are excellent as well. I smoked a Fantastico last night.

Just checked that link and Oh My! Tzaddi, what an awesome review. Beautiful pics and romantic cigar/flora-fauna narrative. How do I add to your ring gauge? It looks like it could use a boost.

Re: San Cristobal

I was introduced to those in Deadwood, SD of all places. Little shop below street level, forgot my travel humi that day and the guy there suggested I try one. Been smoking them ever since.

The Cuban brand is San Cristobal de la Habana, and they are very good.
