Seasoning my new humidor

I'm in the process of seasoning my new humidor right now and because I seasoned my old one a different way I'm a bit confused on how to tell if the new one is ready yet.

It has sat for a few days with a gel tube and a shot glass of distilled water, and it is now reading at 70% humidity, which is where it should stay with the gel. Does this mean I'm all set to put my sticks in there?

If it has been at 70% for a few days I'd say you are all set... load it up and just monitor it closely for the next week or so.. even if it drops to about 65% you are still fine.. its where I keep my sticks at

Yep your set, but then you fill it up half way humidity will be jumping up, and down for a week or so! So don't worry it will stabilize.

I'm really happy you posted this. Otherwise I would have just freaked out (I seasoned a new humi for my CCs).
