What Cigars Possess the Strongest Profile of Leather & Cedar?
In the past month or so I have had a few cigars that had flavors of leather and cedar. They were actually quite good!
I am curious as to what cigars the seasoned smokers here may have tried that carry strong characteristics of that profile... Any advice is more than greatly appreciated! |

Cuba Libre has a pretty strong cedar flavor. They are pretty cheap too.

Had my first Gran Habano 3 siglos the other day. It was like smoking my wallet. No kdding. I've never tasted leather like I did in that smoke. I got sort of used to it after a while but it didn't suit me. It's likely to be the last one I ever smoke.

I agree with you Buddha024, that was one of the smokes that possessed a good cedary profile, I actually like Cuba Libre, only wish it was a little sweeter.... I have like 4 left in my humidor

You could always store your cigars in a cedar humidor for a while in the hopes of picking up some of those flavors. Were the cigars you tried aged at all?

The leatheriest smoke I ever had was a Bucanero Classic maduro. It was like nursing a stirrup strap.
