How long to bring cigars back to life?

Ok, so my friends been telling me about these cubans he somehow got a hold of in florida about a year and a half ago. I did not know him them and he said he had intended on brining them back and sharing them, but at that point no one was interested. So, for the past 1 1/2 years he has had about 15 smokes sitting in some tupperware under his bed.

First off, is it even possible to bring cigars that have been in tupperware back to life after so much time, and how long would it take. He is having a 4th of july party and asked me if he got these into a humi right now, would they be ready in time. I'm not sure, but im guessing the answer is probaly no. But, i figured id ask the professionals here.

So what say you guys?

I'd say give it a try... I highly doubt they would be ready by the 4th but if you leave them in the humi for an extended period of time they may be smokeable again

I'd say a month and they'd be smokable, maybe not the same though.
