How much do you spend in an average month on cigars?
I've noticed I've been spending about $100 a week on cigars, and couldn't believe what my bank statement looked like when I took a glance at it this morning. $100 a week doesn't hurt me much, but when you're spending close to $500 a month it seems a bit out of line.
 Just wondering what you guys spend on an average month on stogies. Mind you, I almost exclusively shop at B&M's (like to support my local buisnesses) so I'm paying a bit more. Maybe a little more online shopping for me in my future. |

I would say roughly $100-150 per month. That varies, of course. There was one month this year I spent nothing at all, then there was another when it seemed that there was one great deal after another on stuff I like to buy. I patronize a couple of local B&Ms, but most of my volume buys are online for financial reasons.

I refuse to answer that question, 5th amendment and all,
 But I did slip a vote in and it seems like I`m in with the crowd, the "what is reasonable" crowd, LOL. On the flip side, I`ve spent zero dollars on cigeretes in the last 6 months, thats gotta be GOOD Randall

When stock-up time comes I'll spend pretty much anything unless it's for super-premiums in order to get good stuff. When the 'dors are full, I will coast for a few months until some room opens up in one. I still visit B&Ms throughout the week so I might drop a little here and there on some singles.
I made myself stop after three humidors...can't stand an empty 'dor, if it was just sitting there it would have to be filled. Forcing myself to make do with limited space keeps me on a pretty good budget. |

I’m in the less than $50 category right now, however, I have 2 – 100ct humidors, 1- 50 count humidor and a large cooler full at the moment. And I haven’t been able to smoke much for the last year, so I have enough to last me for quite a wile, but I still stop and get the occasional stick or four, if I’m in the mode for something I don’t have, or I have but want to let age a bit. This summer I will probably have a couple months that I buy in the $50 to $100 range, but I will have many more this year at $0. No time + no $$$$ = low cigar budget.

For a bit I was out of control, but now that the humidor is stocked, things should settle down for a while. I only smoke one or two 5 or 10 dollar cigars a week, so that puts me in the first or second category.

I Smoke 3 to 5 cigars a day. Don't ususally think about price. Some less expensive cigars are far better than some of the more expensive botiques. I like to stay with the clasics although I get stuck on one particular cigar for a while because its consistantly pleasant to smoke.

I haven't bought much for awhile. Between this past November '08 to April '09 I stocked up well and probably spent around $600 or more! But that includes the $100 I spent on cigars while I went to Vegas during the Xmas break.
Next time I go...I'm taking my own sticks since I now have some. A majority of places don't know how to take care of stuff. And others are just plain expensive. I think I'll still buy a couple Casa Fuente's though....can't go wrong with them! |

Began my collection in earnest about April of last year. I now have a Vino crammed packed with 526 cigars. I only smoke 4-6 cigars per week. I guess at this point I am well supplied.
I gotta find a dose of self-discipline somewhere!!!!  |
