Help me select a celebration cigar

So I'm taking the plunge and getting married in 3.5 weeks. However, there's nothing in my (still half-empty) humidor that quite lives up to "wedding night" status. Here's what I'm looking for:

1 - Wedding evening/night post-dinner smoke
3 or 4 - Honeymoon smokes

Funds are a bit tight, so I'm thinking something quite nice for the wedding day, and several cheaper, but unique, sticks for the honeymoon. Being that I'm in Canada, Cubans are ok (and are probably encouraged, since NC's can be tough to find up here). My local B&M has some aged stock, so that could be an option too.

Re: Help me select a celebration cigar

If we are going with Cubans then I would say Monty #2 or Cohiba Maduro.

Buy a whole box of the Montes. Smoke one on every anniversary. When they're gone, get another box and a new wife and repeat. If you're young enough, you might be able to repeat it one more time after that, too.

Re: Help me select a celebration cigar

For the honeymoon I would say Hoyo Petite Robusto, Ramon Allones Specially Selected, Romeo & Julieta PC, Bolivar PC, Partagas Short, that list is not any any order - just good smokes that won't break the bank and a good intro down that slope (also quick smokes so the wife dosn't get mad at how much time you spend with your gars and not her)

As for the wedding night - IMO just find something you know that you will really enjoy

This was posted while I was typing so I didn't see it, but that is one great idea.

Re: Help me select a celebration cigar

Um, OpusX. One of the best cigars ever rolled in my opinion. A few cubans and the Padron 80th are the only things that can touch an Opus. And right now (around fathers day) you may be able to find them very cheap at your local cigar shop. My local shop only charges $12-$18 depending on the size...compared to $20-$40 in the bigger cities the rest of the year.

Re: Help me select a celebration cigar

those are all great cigars, but most VERY expensive. If you want cheaper, you might want a NC.
How about a straightforeward, $4 a stick cigar like say, a punch or an HDM Excalibur. These are sort of "classic" cigars that are not too weak or strong, many have heard of them, and usually liked by new smokers. I wouldn't want to smoke them though because they are kind of too mild for me. If it was my wedding, I'd be bustin' out the Camacho Diplomas probably.

Re: Help me select a celebration cigar

Great suggestions guys. Next time into the B&M I'm gonna check out their stock vs. your suggestions. I just realized that I don't think I've ever even seen an Opus X... Might be a nice wedding night smoke.

A nice Davidoff Millenium Piramide would be nice too. Heck the white bands would look nice on the wedding day.
