I just was informed of that in a PM also, thank you, and yes, this is what I am talking about.

Also the way the members of CS treat newbies. It was why I stayed, and why I continue to help when I can.

I'm sure I speak for more than just myself here, but I love and am so passionate about cigars that I am so eager and willing to share anything and everything I know with anyone.

That attitude in tandem with the recognition that people may make mistakes, repost a topic, or post a vendor link and NOT run them into the ground is (1) why people come here and (2) why people stay.

I agree with everybody else...for me it's not just one thing, it's everybody and the comraderee(?) here. More than half the people here I will never see or have a chance to meet, but the chat and all.....it's like a friend you haven't seen in years.

It's nice to be able to use that smiley and really mean it.

Value? It's everything. The fun, the knowledge exchage, the genuine respect and friendship displayed (although it takes a while to understand).

Most of all it's the people who invest their time on a multitute of levels here to keep things... nice but interesting.

I know 95% of the guys here would give the shirt off their back if someone needed it, and with that many people with the same mentality, nothing but great relationships can come from it.
Have to agree. Been a longtime member at some other boards as well, but sometimes still feel a little uneasy receiving offers of gifts from some who I know have significantly smaller collections.

Re: What do you value most about Club Stogie?

what I value most on here is the people also

what I find amazing is that for the most part CS dosent change a person into a kind giving type, but it seems to attract that type of person almost without fail

other things I value, dave's cigar stories (with pics ) toms other then cigar life stories (for us that are stuck in school living vicarously through others) and seangars humor

thanks for everything guys

Re: What do you value most about Club Stogie?

I just enjoy the commeraderie around here.. I tend to lay low, and most people don't even know I exist ( Or at least I'd like to think thats how it is), but I enjoy this place for the people the most!
