Do I have beetles?

I picked up a RP ITC 10th Anniversary yesterday after I lost an auction on a 5 pack of them on the devil's site. It came from a B&M with a walk-in humidor and it sat in my car for the next hour. I placed it in my humidor last night and today when I moved it around to get to another cigar under it I noticed two small holes in the wrapper. I flipped the stick over and found two more holes. After searching through my humi I could not find any other cigars with holes. I am worried that these are holes from beetles. I already placed the stick in the fridge and will move it to the freezer later, is there any chance of a full scale beetle take over or am I just being paranoid and the holes aren't even beetle holes. Here are semi-decent pictures of the holes btw: (Click on them to make them bigger)

Re: Do I have beetles?

Well it does look like beetle holes. You will get more response's on this from some more experienced puffers but I think you are going to be suggested to freeze all your smokes just in case.

Re: Do I have beetles?

Kind of blurry but is doesn't look like a beetle hole to me. It looks more like the wrapper was poked and pierced by something. A beetle hole is almost perfectly round, at least the one's I've seen.

I second this.... The holes don't look like beetle holes to me either. The holes I've seen are more round, & are a little bigger.

Once you've seen a real beetle hole, you'll know exactly what to look for the *gulp* next time. Which I hope never happens.

Tap the foot of the cigar on the table lightly, if you get a lot of brown powdery tobacco then it is definitely beetles. But if not, then as Dale said the wrapper probably has been pierced

+1 Should look like somebody took a tiny drill bit and drilled a perfect hole right through the wrapper.

Re: Do I have beetles?

They are not beetle holes. They look like rips and punctures from rough handling. Beetle holes, as mentioned above will be almost perfectly round, as if you poked the cigar with an ice pick.

Re: Do I have beetles?

I've had beetles, and those don't look like the bore holes they make. The holes they make are almost perfectly round and about as big around as a pencil lead.

That would be beetle dung. Not a good thing.

Re: Do I have beetles?

If that was a beetle hole, it would be through the binder. They go from inside out. That is just a good old fashioned wrapper tear.
