What cigar does your husband/boyfriend like the smell of?

I have smoked cigars for longer than my husband has known me. He enjoys the smell of my cigars. He accepts my cigar smoking and has never complained. He even comments about the great smell of certain cigars from time to time. What are your experiences?

I got my girl smoking cigars about a year ago. I like it when she smokes La Riqueza #5's, Nub Maduros, LX2's, and Olivas. I just like it that she enjoys a cigar once in a while!

I like everything my girlfriend smokes. She has better (read: less forgiving) tastes than I do, so usually, if she smokes it, it's either a solid go-to smoke, or a top shelfer! I think her faves at the moment are Olivas, though she really enjoys monte platinums and RP sungrowns. I think I like being downwind the most with the Monte platinums.

I give my female smoking companions unchecked approbation for any cigar they smoke. I'm just glad to get to puff with them. Besides, more often than not, it's come from my humi, so how could I not like it?

Speaking on behalf of my wife ("CigarWench" on a few of the cigar boards), she rarely smokes these days but when she did she enjoyed mild to med cigars, and still enjoys the smells of most of the cigars I smoke today. Her favs included La Luna's Maduro Furete, ERDM's Cafe au Lait, Nat Sherman's Host Selection, and Fuente's to name just a few. Our very first real "date" was to the Seattle Cigar Crawl, an all day event with a bus tour of several of Seattle's cigar shops and cigar friendly establishments.

Ha! Was waiting for someone to state the obvious. The girlfriend/wife thread is elsewhere fellas.

Well, my man enjoys many of the same cigars as I do, so I've yet to smoke one that he disapproves of the smell.
But, I think we do both agree that the VSG strong pepper aroma tends to get a bit thick if we smoke it in a smaller space. Definately an outside smoke for us.

I was just turning one of the earlier threads around and trying to engage the female cigar smokers in our midst! I do reply to threads that are aimed at male smokers where the questions pertains to a wife/gf reaction, with a small explanation. Perhaps threads that could get a reaction from male or female cigar smokers should be more general to cater to all responses.

I see nothing wrong with your question. I merely answered on behalf of my Wife, herself a past cigar smoker and member of various cigar boards (although not this one), and even though she very rarely smokes anymore, she still enjoys the aromas when I smoke. Being that we used to smoke together, I enjoyed the aromas every time she fired up.

Rizzle's response speaks to part of the point I am making. Questions and polls, in some cases, could be non-gender specific so that both male and female cigar smokers could answer.
