WOW! My taste buds sure have changed!

About 2 years ago when I was first started getting into cigars I was smoking ACID's and DE Naturals, you know the flavored/infused cigars. At the time I really liked them. Well I was gifted a random five back and one of the cigars was a CAO Brazilia. To me at that time it smelled like cow shi*. I'm a dare devil so I smoke it anyway and it was horrible. I don't even think I finished it.

Well 2 years later I was once again gifted another one of these Brazilia's inside of the 'Live Nuke Bomb" that I recieved from a hell of a BOTL bigtatoo79(Thanks Lance).

Last night while hanging with some of my favorite BOTL's in a web herf I lit the Brazilia up and wow. It was so fricken good. I can't wait to smoke another one of these.

This just goes to show that your palette over time does change.

Hell I started with the same cigars you did and now I have a refined taste buds. Its like everything else though. My wine preferences change, beer preferences, and hard alcohol. No more Boones Farm, Popov, MD 2020, Schlitz for me!!!!

Ahh man I got so wasted on MD2020 before. I totally blacked out and had to hear about everything I said and did from my mom the next day. Was not cool!

Haven't smoke one since I started the non-Acid type cigars. It's been well over a year. There is so many goods ones that I have smoke and so many more I want to try I don't even think about smoking a ACID.

Similar for me. For the first 15+ years, I could never stand a cigar past the third third. I thought they just got harsh and nasty. I had no idea what purging was and would just set them down and walk away. I've since discovered that many cigars only truly come to life in the final third and I find myself nubbing the nubbable more and more.

Even just in the past year, I've discovered that what I once thought was a fantastic smoke, is no only decent. I only started smoking maduros and stouter blends in earnest about 2yrs ago and my buds now crave the bold and the strong. I can still appreciate a Montie, or a DCM, though.

CAO Brazilia was my first real cigar. Loved it then, love it now.

Never liked acid's really, but I do like Naturals and Isla del Sol.

I think I remember you ranting and raving about a CAO Italia when I first joined. Those are great smokes as well.

I want to try the CAO Cameroon most atm.

The CAO Cx2 is what really pulled me away from the flavored's and the CAO Italia came shortly after that. I still smoke the Italia but I find it lacks in flavor compared to some of the ones I smoke now. I got a couple CAO cameroon's but haven't tried one yet.
