The infamous Clinton Cigar....Gurkha???

I don't know if this a repost but I did try to search it.

I don't know if this is a marketing ploy or if it is the real deal. Personally I dont think that highly of Gurkha.

I thought Clinton was a PG man. If it was a Gurkha I wonder if they were a gift and thats why he had them in his humi.

I don't buy it, especially considering the news came from Gurkha themselves, and the article pumps up their brand sounding basically like a self-aggrandizing advertisement.

I don't believe it either. Don't know if it's true or not but someone mentioned in the user comments that the cigar in question wasn't released till 2004, several years after the event. But whatever. Every Gurkha I've had has been terrible, so much so that I often put it down by halfway.

"Gurhka has established itself as the Rolls Royce in the cigar community, "

Says who? Ohh, by way of:
"consistently producing the world’s most expensive and exclusive cigars "

Well I've had good as well as terrible Gurkhas. But talk about going full-on cocky. (No pun or 'relationship' intended by the last sentence

Geez, I should sell my own that I reman in my kitchen or something.. Take Cremosas and cut a little off or soak em in gasoline or strawberry juice? Jack the price up a bit, and dub them the Bentley of cigars.

Re: The infamous Clinton Cigar....Gurkha???

Back when the scandal happened I remember a guy in a B&M showing me a "Lewinsky" cigar that had a band of Lewinky's face on it. I don't know what tobacco was in it or if it was just some junk cigar with the band put on it, but just the thought of what was done with a cigar by Clinton kept me from buying it, even as a souvineer. I would never smoke a cigar that was done to it with what Clinton did, but then again, I've tried just about all the ACID's, so I could probably take it (just kidding Jonathan Drew, some of your cigars are alright)
