Same Smokes?

It just struck me. Of the several thousand cigars smoked, I have never smoke two of the same cigars one after another. Same shape, size, wrapper, etc.

Anyone else do this? If you have smoked two of the same, what was the stick?

I know I've done it when I've bought a box. I'll just grab a handfull of them & head out with the guys.

I'm pretty sure I did it with Indian Tabacs.

Only every once in a while though.

Re: Same Smokes?

I rarely have more than one of the same type so I haven't yet. Even if I had a box though, I'd probably switch up unless I had no choice.

Having said that, I smoked a Rocky Patel Edge recently and afterwards, if someone had plopped another one in my lap, I wouldn't have hesitated to light it up.

Re: Same Smokes?

And I would also like to give you an award. This is the first time I have ever seen this question asked.

Ha! I never really thought about it. Tried several searches and could not find anything.

Seems kind of odd, should have at least done it once. Will have to give it a try some time.

It is close to impossible to find a topic here that has not already been discussed but you somehow did it.

I usually smoke smaller cigars as after a while I lose interest in a lot of them if they are too big like a Churchill. I think it would be the same effect for me if I smoked 2 of the same back to back.

I've never thought about that either, but I really don't think I have. I usually will try to smoke milder cigars earlier and stronger ones later in the day.

That is the way I roll. Love to get warmed up and then hit it with a killer smoke!

Re: Same Smokes?

I have never done that on the same day, as I like to change things up too much. But I have had the same a few days in a row when I was low on cigars ready to smoke.
