Orange County, CA cigar locations

I just returned from a trip to Orange County, CA and I will be going back in about two weeks. I'm looking for a place I can smoke and perhaps buy some good sticks without breaking the bank. I will be staying near John Wayne Airport.

I walked into a smoke shop in Newport Beach, mistakenly believing that because they displayed "cigars" prominently on their neon sign in the window they were a priority. The place looked more like a head shop, with hookahs and rolling papers everywhere, with one small cabinet humidor with about a dozen kinds of overpriced cigars near the front door. Smoking in the shop wasn't an option. My hotel has no smoking area - only a balcony about three feet deep and six feet wide with a waist-high rail - and I'm afraid of heights. I had to forgo stogies for the whole trip this weekend.

You must go to Siglos it is off MacArthur Blvd off Jamboree on N. Bristol. About 3 miles from the airport. I go there all the time when I am out in CA. for business. Ask for Gary he runs the shop. Great guys and shop with many couches and chairs to sit and smoke. I hope my college roommate is there if you show up he is from Rhode Island, so also ask if Chris from Rhode Island if around. I hope you get there you wont be disappointed

I walked in to check this place out...but looking online it might be closed. Placed looked really nice. Great lounge, nice walk-in humi. I didn't check prices.

1. Siglo in Newport Beach - Bristol and Jamboree next to the Togos.

2. Vintage Cigars in Costa Mesa Bristol and Hyland Off of Bristol behind Jack n the Box next to the Thai place.

Both are not too far from the airport.

Enjoy,

Re: Orange County, CA cigar locations

Thanks to everyone for the tips. At least I have some places to go without so much trial and error.

That sounds very close to my hotel. I had to turn off Jamboree onto MacArthur to get to the hotel.

A little further south in Temecula, are two good places. Old Town Cigar and Zarka-Diamond Crown Lounge. I've been to both.
