uh-oh, I noticed that the dots on mine are a little underneath the gold border surrounding the choiba logo when I saw your pics, but I'll let you see it yourself.. It's gonna take too long to rack up 30 posts.. I got a family emergency and I won't be posting for about a week or so probably.. But go to photobucket and look up my album @ bimmian_photos (that's my profile there now, thanks maduro lover), there's 3 pics I was able to get that weren't fuzzy on there. Thanks for the advice, snake hips! I'm beginning to think maybe they're just really tasty, well-built fakes. If they're cheap enough to smoke often, maybe I'll buy more anyway and use them as grillin' smokes or something haha! Check yall out laters.

It was pretty obvious it’s a fake once I looked at the image of the real band and description that snake hips put up. I’m ashamed I didn’t catch it myself, especially with all the crowing I was doing about being able to I.D. fakes..[/SIZE]
[SIZE=3]There actually IS a fifth row of dots, but it’s partially obscured by the gold border extension, just like the ones on the top three are.. I was assuming that the thicker gold border was intentional to differentiate it from the other cohibas, without even checking anywhere to verify it. Boy, do I feel dumb now. Sorry for wasting everyone’s time![/SIZE]

Don't sweat it, brother. Similar thing happened to me and my stepdad a while back. He ended up smoking the rest of his pretty tasty fakes. Now let's get on with things and start talking about Tatuajes and Don Pepin!

And yours aren't what I would consider 'obvious' fakes; it's easy to get taken when fakes look professional, and sometimes no amount of band-studying will be enough - you have to actually come across the goods to become familiar with the details, really.
