I have spoken to guys that have smoked upwards of 20+ cigars at the SHACK.
Me personally.....6 but I may have smoked more on other occasions and was not keeping count.

Bill that was also including PPP cigars. My taste buds were shot for a few days. I don't think I smoked another cigar for about a week.

In my opinion a Herf can just be a simple gathering of two friends enjoying and talking about cigars

Now if your by yourself, and have multiple personalities that counts also

As to the per day question
I would say, "all nighter's" count

Another forum I'm on had a national herf earlier this year... I smoked 7 in one day and I was one of the lightweights!

MMMmmm, herfy goodness... cigars, bacon explosions, rum, deer steaks, poker, more cigars and rum........

When I was in the DR at Gene Arganese House, I smoked the equivalent of a box in the two full days I was there.

The most I've smoked in a row is 3 cigars, last newyears eve at a bonfire. A DPG Generosos, a gifted Torano Virtuoso Robusto, and an Ashton VSG corona gorda.
My voice was a couple octaves lower in the morning. hahaha.

She smoked between 6-7 a day. Keep in mind we were at a manufacturers house and thats all we had to do was walk around and smoke his cigars.
