Ashton's Aroma de Cuba Brand Now Rolled in Garcia Factory

Pepin was just making the Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial and Altadis USA Inc. was making the reg line in Honduras. But earlier this year Ashton decided to give the whole line to Pepin to make in his My Family Cigars factory in Nicaragua.

This sounds like great news to me! I love the Edicion Especial, so if the new cheaper cigar is anything close this will be awesome!

Is "My Family Cigars" "Cigar Family"? AKA, Arturo Fuente. Ashton is a Fuente if I'm not mistaken.

My local B&M has em, they are all right, Full bodied, not for my taste! But they smell delicious, No kidding!!!!

I promise I'm not picking on you... but you are mistaken.

Ashton is owned by the Levins, which have a good relationship with the Fuentes and the Fuentes make a lot of their smokes, but all of the most recent additions have been Pepin made.

Pepin has nothing to do with "Cigar Family" or Arturo Fuente. But AF does make the VSG for Ashton as well as other cigars by different names.

Okay thank-you. Just similarity in names confused me haha.

I thought I read that Ashton was the son or relative of the Fuente and he decided to make his own line in conjunction with the Chateau de la Fuente plant. The Ashton website says nothing about a family relation to them though, so I guess I was mistaken on that, but it does say Arturo Fuente makes their cigars.

And your right, they have made a lot of cigars together, Pepin and Ashton. San Cristobal, Benchmade, La Aroma de Cuba.
