Half these stories people are dropping Pepins. Maybe cause he makes so many cigars?

I opened my big mouth about maybe do some fishin and my shawdow (4yr old daughter) decided that she needed to go too. I cant break her heart if I wanted to...I wake up to 15-20 mph winds...great fishing...try explaining that to a 4yr old and I got..."It doesn't blow under the water where the fish are daddy..so...I get my license bait and I get ready to leave wally world...now she wants soemthing to drink so I pick up 2 bottles of water..and wait in line and wait in line and wait some more...lady and her grandson are trying to put things back and get the total down to what they have on them so I pull out some cash and help move the line some..5 bux aint gonna break me and who knows it might be the thing that opens that kids eyes to kindness...and I was hopeful Karma would let me catch someting....

Off to the local hole..wind is blowing and dirt gets in jesi's eyes and she starts to cry..so I have my poles, chairs, tackle box and have no free hands..so I put everything down and wash her eyes out...she decides we need to try another place..yes I listen to a 4 yr old...on the way I get stopped by a train...sit and sit and sit..truck starts to get hot...GREAT another issue I really don't need..so I turn around and go way out of my way and after 2 hrs I am finally fishing...got the poles in and decide its time for a cigar....as I pull out the case and pull the cigar out jesi screams and says her bobber is gone and at the same moment my pole starts to hit..so I jump off and jesi's bobber is still there and I have no worm bummer but thats fishing...until the wind blows and flips the chair up and the case and cigars end up in the drink...wouldn't of minded the cigars but it was sicking to watch the case sink.....

Icing on the cake is while I am pissed I lost the case and cigars and I am not relaxing and lost the fish.....jesi the lil angel she is told me she was sorry I lost my case and cigars and that this was the best fishing she has everdone...Yeah cant be upset now just had my heart melted...

So lost a leather 3 finger case and 2 sticks but her best day of fishing was with me!!

Great Story... I can relate...

As a matter of fact I had my "unit" draped around my neck like a snake while smoking a churchill and it caught the end of my cigar and put it out. I am considering standing 3 feet away from urinals so I don't get caught in the backspray.

Re: Dropped my cigar, and it is gone

I dropped a Vegas Miami a few days ago, landed right on the head and split it open. Being both cheap and stubborn, I smoked it anyway, but by the time I was halfway though it the wrapper had completely come unraveled and I had to throw it away. I was pretty angry, so I had to go get another cigar to calm me back down.

I dropped my Ashton VSG Belicoso from a 3rd story balcony a while back.

Hadn't run down stairs that fast since high school

Surprised that it wasnt damaged at all, minus a bit of dirt which came off easy enough.

Re: Dropped my cigar, and it is gone

I've posted this before but an interesting LOSS none the less and worth repeating.

Few years ago we had a big 16 hands tall Gelding named Mandrake. he loved any kind of treats from cookies or carrots to tobacco. I occasionally gave him a fifty cent Reserva #7 maduro and he seemed to like them. Heck its a vegatable.

My wife and I walked out one evening to visit the horses in the field and check the water tank. IIRC I had a Cuban Monte #2 my neighbor had given me. DO recall whatever it was it was a treat. I had just lit it and was basking in the splendor of a great gift when Mandrake grabbed that thing out of my hand as fast as a snake. And about as quick it was GONE.
