any specific type/brand cigar give you headaches?

I was smoking an Oliva Serie G Cameroon earlier and found the smell/taste somewhat nauseating and got a headache about 15 min later. Then I remembered that last time I smoked a cameroon (CAO) I also got a nauseating headache. I thought that the first time it was just because I was around about 5 other guys smoking and my senses just got overloaded. I know it's not the nicotine, as I generally smoke medium-full bodied smokes. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I had a similar experience smoking a makers mark about 10 years ago. I received it as a gift and was on a road trip from P-cola Fl back to Quantico Va. Smoked it in the car while we were driving and got the worst headache and nausea. I had never had anything like that happen before or since! I don't know what caused it but believe it or not I haven't had another Makers Mark!

Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classics do this to me. I can't stand the cigar, and they always give me headaches to boot. Don't know what causes it or why. I think just the raw strength maybe, but I've smoked some other high-octane beasts without problems.

That could have just been the Makers Mark cigar. I love cigars and I love Makers Mark - but you put those two together and it is not good, I couldn't stand that stick. I know some people love it, but not my cup of tea.

I like pickles and I like ice cream but not a good combination, some things are better left apart.

Yes. Vieja Hacienda is about the worst cigar I have smoked to date .... yuk

a big El Rico Habano did one night, but I hadn't eaten anything.

A DPG Blue sort of did, after the fact.

DPG Black does not.

Usually if I'm not properly hydrated or fed during the day, I might get a little headache from a real potent 'gar. Happens pretty rarely, though.

My un-expert opin would be that headaches from cigars would probably be from high nicotine content. When I had my first Pepin blue label Generoso, it made my head spin a bit too. Cameroons are not usually so strong so, I don't know.

The one and only Acid I smoked over a decade ago made me nauseaus (sp).

Sometimes if I go for a full bodied smoke early in the AM before eating, it can upset my stomach a bit.

I have habitual migraines, and some cigars have triggered one in me - I'm not sure if it's the smoke itself, or just a nicotine overload. I know if I don't take it slow towards the end of a cigar the nicotine will start to make me extremely nauseated.

Certain cameroons give me headaches. Not sure why either. Perdomo La Tradicion cammie just kills me.

What gives me a headache most is when I am enjoying a nice cigar and my wife keeps asking when I am going to finish and come in the house.

I haven't gotten headaches, but I get nauseated every time I smoke a CAO Black. I wound up with four of them from a sampler and had the same reaction to each one.
