Anyone here familiar with J. Fuego Cigars?

I went to the local shop and the owner suugested a couple of smokes based on my likes of Oliva V...

He suggested a J. Fuego and HC Natural...

All I can say is WOW.... J. Fuego was an amazing smoke. I have not heard to much about them but quite suprised as it is top notch!!!

The HC was very good too, but I can't find them on the web anywhere. On the band were the letters HC divided by a Palm Tree, and stated Xikar Series!?!

Anyone else here try these smokes?

I smoked the corojo and it was very good. A friend of mine really enjoys the natural. Over just a very good cigar.

Re: Anyone here familiar with J. Fuego Cigars?

the hc stands for havana collection and its made by j. fuego for xikar... theyre discontinuing the defiance cigar and this is the replacement... the guy at my b/m loves the regular line of j. fuego cigars haven't pulled the trigger on em but i know alot of other people like em... anyways heres the link to xikar's site with info on the HC cigar... just read that CI gave the h/c line two 92's and a 90... impressive debut

Just had the J. Fuego Natural early this morning,,,a very good solid cigar and I was surprised as well. I won a 5 pak about a month ago and just had the first one. I will be looking for these again,,,I think I won the 5 pak for about $11 and for the price I'd buy a couple of boxes,,,they are that good!

J. Fuego makes some very good smokes and well constructed cigars! But I doubt any would taste like an Opus X.

Try the 777's, or Tres Siete's. They are a great smoke at a reasonable price. They pack a pretty good punch too.

Ya know Frank,,,while I was smoking mine I kind of had some recollections about this tasting like an Opus at times,,with all of the pepper and spice. Thought it doesnt have the same amount it did remind me of hints,,,kind of like the Poor Mans Opus.

Re: Anyone here familiar with J. Fuego Cigars?

After seeing the names in here who like Jesus's stuff.. I am not surprised..

for those of you who do not know here are some of the cigars Fuego has worked on in the past:

RP Decade
RP Edge
RP OWR
RP Sun Grown

plus about 3 or 4 other top selling RP cigars.

When I sat down with him a couple months ago we got to talking and he was telling me a bit more about his new line (Origin). I've got a couple toro's of these and they are absolutely amazing.

Soon the limited release belicoso should be coming out.. definately pick some up if you get a chance.
