Victor Sinclair Fat Torpedo "Mega-Sampler"
I've seen a few references to the blends in this sampler around but no real info on these "Fat torpedoes" 5x58
I've had my finger over the order button multiple times but keep going back to look for more info. Any one? Copy/paste link (my post count limit in affect) cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-V2ASST5 |

The vintage select is by far the best, I believe it is a maduro wrapper. The connecticut yankee is very one-dimensional and kind of "just" a cigar. I got mostly woody notes out of it. It has a "connecticut-grown havana-seed" wrapper. the primeros was also one-dimensional, and very mild. It has a connecticut wrapper. I havn't tried the corojo yet. Don't know anything about the fat torps but I would assume they would just give a little more smoke and burn cooler. I personally think there are better cigars/deals to spend $40 on. I didn't find any of the cigars I tried offending though. Just make sure you let them rest a while in the humi, they were much better after a few weeks. Hope that helps you make a decision! |

Re: Victor Sinclair Fat Torpedo "Mega-Sampler"
If you like that vitola try the la gloria cubana serie R. here I know they aren't in the same price range but you can find a 5-pack for around $25. They come in large sizes and are one of my absolute favorites! My favorite is the belicoso (5.7" x 56)

Todays Joe/ci deal was too hard to pass up. 16 VS sampler for 25 bucks, not fatty torpedoes but should be a good way to get an idea.

Re: Victor Sinclair Fat Torpedo "Mega-Sampler"
The only Victor Sinclair I've smoked is the Con Yankee and I found it bland. Have avoided the brand because of that one, but to be fair, I really need to try some of their other lines.

Re: Victor Sinclair Fat Torpedo "Mega-Sampler"
had a maduro from there 10 pack on CI and didn't care for it one bit, very one dimensional. Curious to try some of the others just letting them season in the humi for a bit longer.
