I would have to agree on the America being great with age. I had one on the 4th of july and it had a little over a year on it and it was outstanding. I would have to vote brazilia. I love that cigar.

Re: CAO Brazilia vs Italia vs America vs Criollo

CAO has some great cigars no doubt and to pick a fav is hard.
I went with Italia only cuz I smoke those more often then the Brazilia, which is just as good and very complex and consider one of my top notch favs. The Criollos are a solid stick as well but I'm not sold on the America, just yet. They have been a disappointment for me especially given the price.
Love the Gold Maduros and the MX2's & CX2's & the Black and VR as well!
Awhh heck - Their whole line is pretty solid!

Had a Brazilia Gol and did not fancy it at all. Maybe I'll give it another try. Also have a Gold 2002 in the humidor to check out as well.

One of my favorites is the CAO Brazilia Lambada. Very nice.
Though still somewhat of a newbie to this...

Brazillia is a great cigar for the money. I have smoked all sizes and enjoyed them all. The Brazillia Gol is one of my favorites.

Re: CAO Brazilia vs Italia vs America vs Criollo

Of CAO I have only tried Brazilia, Maduro and MX2.

I thought the Brazilia was average. I think the Maduro and MX2 are great!

Re: CAO Brazilia vs Italia vs America vs Criollo

The only CAO I would go out of my way to say I liked in a looooong time is the LX2. I've had a lot of consistancy problems with them, and some of they're stuff just taste down right awful to me. But, Go-Go gadget LX2.

Edit: I voted for the Brazilia; out of the list given that would be my choice.

I am a Bratalia Whore, but I love the Brazilia, like the Italia, dislike the America and hate the Criollo.

Re: CAO Brazilia vs Italia vs America vs Criollo

I love the Criollo, it was one of my first box purchases. Not only did I like the cigar but they came in the coolest cabnet box with drawers and they were wrapped in tissue paper with another cool red band around it. I still have 3 or 4 of those cigars but I pitched the box when I moved one time, I really whish I would have held on to it. All that being said, Criollo is my top choice on the poll, I like Brazilia a lot as well, there is something about the Italia I just don't care for, I have smoked a few of these because I like most of what CAO makes and this cigar looks so good but I just don't like it. As for the America I have one in my humi but haven't smoked it yet. Another great poll Mr. Nickerson.

Thanks Matt! I have a few choices for next weeks poll. Was interested in hearing Benchmades vs Fumadores, but not sure if enough people have tried them both. Possibly Oliva 'O' vs Oliva 'G' (wouldn't be fair if I included Oliva 'V'). Padilla Miami vs Padilla 1932 should be a good one too, not sure if I should include the 68 as well.
