If you had to pick one cigar to end the summer with...

...what would it be???

Im now at the point where ive been through and sampled about 35 diffrent cigars from mild to full boddied, from cheap to mederatly priced.

Now theres so many more to sample and try in the middle price range that i havent really even thought about anything super premium yet. BUT, if you were going to end the summer with one super premium cigar in the $20 area what would it be?

For labor day weekend I will be heading to a small area in northwest Jersey where my family has some old cabins right on the river bank and is generally the final hoorah for summer. At the half way point of the summer now,I have really enjoyed my new hobby of smoking gars and i want to treat myself to something special.

And at what time of the day would you smoke it, in the morning, lounging in the river mid day, or at the campfire at night??

So what would you recomend to a new smoker as a high end cigar that will blow me outa the water?

Thanks guys, your the best!

---Joe

Re: If you had to pick one cigar to end the summer with...

So you want to go out with a bang! In the $20 range, well the cigar I'm picking for you goes for $25 so that's close enough. I promise you this will be your best cigar of the summer and will blow your socks off. Now you have to smoke it at the campfire because the mood will be better and you can't smoke your last cigar of the summer in the morning or mid day.

So here you go, Padron 40 year. Go for it!

I'd probably go with an Ashton VSG myself, and sitting with one by the campfire sounds like an awesome time to be had!

Re: If you had to pick one cigar to end the summer with...

I am hoping to purchase a couple Tatuaje next month from the B&M in a neighboring town. That will be a fine smoke to toast the end of summer and the beginning of fall indeed.

Hmmm, at this point, it will be either a La Riqueza petit corona...flawless.
Or I might go for a more flawed RASCC.
Either way, it has been a great summer for me......rain and all!
