CI's Make me an offer section
Anybody used the 'Make Me an Offer' page on Cigars International yet? Looked there were some good boxes up there but no idea if real cheap offers (50-75% off their retail) would go through.

Re: CI's Make me an offer section
I believe they have a set percentage of the actual price that they will accept. To answer your question, bids at 50-70% of their usual price (not MSRP) will not be accepted. I am speaking from experience.

Re: CI's Make me an offer section
I've only had one bid there accepted, because I put in bids at what I'd expect to pay a cbid--those bids all get rejected immediately.
The only way MMAO is good is for a product that cbid doesn't sell or that sells for less than the standard % off (if they had Padrons, Fuentes, Tatuaje, etc up on MMAO, that would be a good thing). |

Re: CI's Make me an offer section
Yes....
And I have been somewhat successful. I was able to win a 5 pack of Padilla 68 golden bears for $12 not to bad in my mind, though not a steal. Love the 68's!!! Love um, though the 6x60 profile was a little big and hard to keep lit! I also won a Nat Sherman Ashtray for a pretty good price. Only prob here is they didnt mention that it was freaking huge and I cannot use it, I have no pleace to put the thing...lol I have placed a number of other bids which returned cold. If you are looking at something that you really want then go aggressive, otherwise take your time and bid low and make small increases until it accepts your price. You may be able to get a few things as low as on C-bid but I wouldn't expect too many of those. I better reference would probably be when they have a quick buy price. Good luck and I hope that helps! Re: CI's Make me an offer section
Haven't got any good deals there yet. None of my offers accepted and I put good offers in.

How much do you think they would take for that Opus X 22 box?
