A few new sticks

Just got home picked up a few stores at the local Angelina's shop.
Just wondering what to expect of what I bought.

Arturo Fuente Curly Head - inexpensive but was recommened
Acid Kuba Kuba- I like the Blondies, thought I would try one
Monte Christo Especial White #3 - Again recommended
Montesino Diplomatico Natural- Mid priced thought I'd try one

New smoker, so been sampling a few different brands and sizes.

Kuba Kuba is very much like the Blondie just on steriods. Same flavors. If you want a stronger with a diff flavored smoke try the red label Acids (Nasty is interesting).
I have never been disappointed from any AF. Infact I just finished up a Hemmingway Shortstory.

AF and MC should be ok.
Haven't touched Montesino in many years.
Keep a bucket nearby when smoking the Acid

Re: A few new sticks

Smoked the Acid Kuba Kuba too over powering to me. Too much
The Montesino wasn't bad, just not to my likiing. Draw was a bit hard and had a a bit of a harsh aftertaste.

Re: A few new sticks

You may try buying doubles of a few and letting some rest for a few months and revisiting them. I did this when I first started trying cigars. I would pick up 2 of everything....just a little advice

I'm not an Acid fan. I have tried the Kuba Kuba and the Opulence 3...the 3 was better IMO. But both just tasted "off" to me and I atribute that to the oils/herbs and random stuff Drew puts in his cigars.

I believe you will enjoy the Montecristo white. I found it a bit mild for my taste, but I've been smoking cigars for a while and lean toward the medium-to-full-body blends.

Re: A few new sticks

I did like the Monte Christo Especial tonight. It took a little bit to kind of settle down. Nice and smooth after the intial light. My taste buds are still trying to adjust to different things. LOL Not sure what I like the best yet

Fuentes are among my favorite and the Shortstory is wonderful but I had a bad experience with a curly head once, never tried another after that I hope i just had a bad one and yours will be better.
