Another practice by some of the old timers was that they used a cigar mouthpiece like the late George Burns used on his cigars. The tip slid over the end of the cigar and your lips never touched the end of the cigar except for the tip that was put on them,,,hence you could buy the longest cigar and cut it in half and have 2 cigars for the price of one. They still sell these as you can see,,,,I have thought about getting one only to reduce the risk of getting lip cancer as I have seen on a couple of people,,,it ain't pretty!

I am honestly ashamed to admit I did this once and only once, I didn't have time to smoke the whole cigar so I thought hell I'd just cut it in half and save the other half for later, well let me tell you big big mistake messed up the 2nd half of the cigar wrapper wasn't right. Never will I do that again, and this is the only time and the last time I will admit to even doing it.
