Torpedos

I like the time it takes to smoke them, how they look, and that I can cut them to my liking. Also toros are a favorite

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

1.) Lonsdale
2.) Robusto
3.) Belicoso

Lonsdale, to me, gives just the right amount of flavor & smoke. But there can be draw problems with a Lonsdale from time to time.

Robusto is great for just the sheer volume of smoke produced. The flavors are usually quick & to the point.

Belicoso has pretty much the same qualities as a Robusto, but you get to pick your ring gauge! There can be uneven burning with the occasional Belicoso.

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

Based on what I have a majority of in my cab and coolers it would be petit coronas. I feel that the flavors are intensified in a smaller ring gauge and I like the burn time.

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

Belicoso, Toro, Torpedo.... but they are relatively similar, which is why I like them all.

Generally, somewhere between 5.5 to 6.5 in length, and gauge of 50-54.

Long & skinny, or short & fat just sound or look appealing to me, and it affects my smoke mentality and enjoyment.

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

My favorite size wouild be 5.5-6 inches long with a ring guage of 46-50, though I smoke a fair number of 5 inchers. Reason? Simple, they feel good in my hand and mouth and they don't take toooooo long to smoke.

Petite Corona
Belicoso
Robusto

Don't like big cigars really. I like the belicoso/torpedo shape, but belicoso is usually the size of a robusto.

Corona's are good. A belicoso like the Tat Cojonu 06 is perfect.

You all mean "cigars" right? Not some secret code name for something else so you can have your discussion without getting banned?

Thumbs up Re: What's your favorite size and why???

In my case coronas and lanceros,it's the best way to pick up the flavor of the wrapper.

For me, corona. Price and smoke time is the reason.

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

I'm new to the cigar world...so I haven't found the size that suits me best yet. I like different sizes depending on the wrapper and have found some Robustos that I enjoy in one style while another may be belicoso or a toro.

I do know that I am not fond of much past a 54 ring guage. I prefer my smokes to be in the 46-52. Size wise depends on the situation. 4.5 inches when I'm grilling out back or watching my son in the pool works perfect because I can get it down in an hour or less.

When I'm relaxing or at a party, I prefer 5.5-6 inches because most will last about an hour and a half which isn't too bad. I can't sit still for longer than 2 hours so big ring guages and long cigars don't work well for me.

Re: What's your favorite size and why???

It depends on where I'm at. If I'm someplace where I can smoke for a while, like work, I smoke a Presidente. Same on the golf course.

Now when I'm at home I like Toro sizes. I can watch a movie while smoking a toro.

I've learned to smoke slow.
