However, you are missing a great one: Atlantic Cigar.

CI, Famous, Taboo, Holts,JR, TNT all rate about equal for me in the customer service department. Each have their own niche. I'm curious about Atlantic; some of their prices look good. CI gets my vote, I seem to buy from them or Cbid more.

Famous, CI and JR, although JR has been getting less of my business lately because of the per item shipping charges, (and the styrofoam peanuts in the packaging .... gawd I hate those things!)

Thanks for all the great input so far and keep it coming! I've had great experiences, in my short cigar shopping career, with CI and Cigarbid, So-so with Thompson's and it's great to get some input from some experienced people! Got some new sites to browse!

I voted CI because they are also CBid... so really the best deals are had there.. but lately I have been getting most of my stuff from famous/cigarmonster and Holts.com because they have just had better deals on what I have been looking for

I have used most of them at some point and all are decent. I have had a few quality issues with CI, so that is the only reason that I didn't vote them. The worst is Thompson. I like a less knows site that has great cigar deals. Lazy Bird Cigars has always done well for me.

I voted CI since I have done most of my ordering through them. But it seems that many online sites are great to deal with. Never had any issues from the ones lilsted that I have ordered from. I have ordered from a few shops too and havent ran into trouble.

I didn't vote because my go to site wasn't listed. I have used and still use:

Thompson, done with them years ago
Cigar.com, used them once and loved their packaging
CI / Cbid, still use them for stuff they have exclusives on / cheap prices on the expensive cigars (fivers) I enjoy
JR, still use them every once and awhile
Atlantic, great prices and service
BestCigarPrices, use to have great prices til they got greedy. They still have better prices than the sites in your list though and good service.
And finally my Go to site The Cigar Place, great prices and excellent service with live inventory.

Regarding the quality of merchandise, shippment and packaging, customer service, and general warm and fuzzies criteria my vote would go to two vendors not listed. New Havana and Taboo Cigars. Granted their cigar selection is not as broad as the vendors listed but is more focused and specialized. Just my.

This was a tough call for me. Historically, it would be CI's Cbid (The Devil), hands down. But their prices have been rediculously jacked up, of late (probably fellow Puff BOTLs). It was a toss, between CI and Famous. Famous' cigarauctioneer.com absolutely SUCKS, out loud. Most of the time, I can find better prices with a google search than their auction prices. HOWEVER, the deals on their monster site are unbeatable. I just bought Edge Toro Maduro for $3.49.
