My local "real" B&M (not the beer distributors that sell cigars) is $50 for the basic which gets you 5% off and invites to monday night events which is usally a beer and cigar or just a cigar tasting. Or the full for $150 which gets you 10% off and a humidor-locker in the Cigarden to keep smokes and booze. Not too bad. They boast 150 member (give or take), haven't had the time or the $ to check them out yet, but I always pass it when we are downtown. One day I may join.

This is not always the case.. usually, but not always.

That being said, most quality B&M's will offer discounts to their regulars.. I never pay full price at my B&M anymore.. usually 10 - 20% off. If I was asked to pay $600 a year to receive that benefit, I'd find a new shop.
