Customer Service and C-Bid

I just wanted to give props to the customer service group at cigarbid.com.

They took good care of me when I received some cigars that were packaged too tight. 3 of 5 in the pack were dented, 2 were dented bad. I called them and they sent me out 3 more and I received them 2 days later.

I purchased a single and they layed it on top of the 5 pack and packaged it. I think the single over time started denting some of the cigars in the 5 pack during shipment...it was my only explanation.

I wish customer service was that good everywhere.

I'm glad to hear this... I had just won a Xikar Xi3 Redwood cutter last week... and it arrived this morning (along with some goody smokes), but they packaged an Xi2 Bloodstone. Unfortunately their call center is closed but I just shot them an email asking to get the order corrected. Hopefully no trouble.

I had a bad Don Carlos Edicion de Anivisario that the wrapper stuck to the Cedar, year band and band. They sent out a new one and I received it with 48 hrs. Kudos.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

I have always had great CS from C Bid and once when I had an issue it was corrected immediately. I know nowadays it is common place for C Bid to get some harsh remarks and quality issues about them sending out "sub par" cigars even with the brand names still on the them,,,I highly doubt that or they would be strung up and lose business pretty quickly. There are too many cigar smokers who know the difference between a quality cigar and a sub par one.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

Im waiting on a 5pk that got put on "backorder" weeks ago. But atleast they refunded me the sticks and gave me the option to either cancel or rebill and send out free shipping when they made it instock. I opted for that option, but im not too sure the sticks will come back in, they may be discontinued... owell. They did respond to my emails very quickly and took care of me.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

Well, I'm happy to say that within a few hours, C-Bid customer service responded to my email... they have already shipped out the correct Xikar cutter, and sending me the RMA to return the incorrect one, all at no cost to me.

I know mistakes in life happen, and its great to see a company take quick action to correct the issue. I will certainly be back to C-Bid again many times.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

I bought a humi from cbid. It was hard to see, but it was missing 2 very small screws in the hinges (did not affect function at all). But I did want the screws so I could install them myself to make the humi whole.
I emailed CS at cbid, they contacted the manu and sent me the screws (along with a couple of extras) asap. Cigar orders have always been filled perfectly and shipped/arrived right on time. Top notch service in my experience.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

Never had a bad experience with their Customer Service. I won a humidor off CBid (paid about $40 for it, sells in CI for $110).

The analog hygro was missing some internal pieces and wouldn't work because of it. I contacted CS and they sent me a brand new hygro (that they used to sell on CI for about $9 a piece). As with all CI/Cbid purchases, I had the new hygro the next day.

Re: Customer Service and C-Bid

I just contacted them last night about an issue I had. Ordered two GOF tubos, on both of them the foot was split open. Well they replied early this morning saying they'd send me replacements & a shipping label to send the faulty smokes back.

If everything works out, I'm very impressed!
