Single FAKKING MALT FAKKING SCOTCH (made with love, by men in skirts) WHISKEY! There is NO substitute. All these "blends" and abominations of God's nectar make my liver sieze and make my tongue break out in hives. Scotch is a RELIGION! Don't blend it. Don't adulterate it with bloody ice or water... don't even go near a bottle of... ... soda.

Glen Morangie-nice, mellow, complex
The McCallan-my ultimate favorite. Very complex and delicate. Aged in different casks, offers a palette of genius-level flavors.
Oban-just a good, straight forward example.
LAPHROAIG-The best "starter" scotch I know. Extremely peaty and full-flavored.
The Famous Grouse (if you must drink blended)
Old Pulteney 15 Year Old-for connoisseurs
Benromach Organic-for connoisseurs

Glen Livet and Glen Fiddich SUCK! These are the saddest examples of the Single Malting process. Made for mass markets.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

Although I am partial to Glenfiddich 15, for the price, its not bad.

Might I also HIGHLY recommend Glenrothes .... you wont be disappointed.

IMHO Beer always goes great with cigars whether it is a dark stout in the winter or a lighter wheat beer in the warmer months. I also partake in coffee either hot or iced. I try to stay away from sweetened drinks as I feel that they interfere with the flavors of the cigar.

Hmmm...I think I'm going to be the different one here. How about a soda? I'm not 21 and can't "legally" drink, so I have to stick to other alternatives.

I hear you there Gunny, sweet drinks don't compliment a cigar at all, I much prefer the taste of coffee, beer, or something tart.
