They are lowering the price per box BY $25.00 to $37.00. Thats not how much they cost.

So if it would cost $100.00 before, they lower price BY $25.00. Now it costs $75.00
Thanks!! I am sad now!

It all depends on your taste of tobacco. I have not had anyone of his cigars that were bad enough not to buy them though.

In other words you can't go wrong with any one of his cigars as far as I am concerned.

I second that. The lot 23's especially, (I'm partial to the maduros). Grab at least a 5 pack to try. CI and Famous usually have a pretty good price on them. You won't be disappointed.

Well...I have some Lot 23 Maduros on the way as of Wednesday. I've never tried them and am now plenty excited to give 'em a smoke!

And Mr. Perdomo seems like a stand up cat. Win/Win.

Thanks for the information. I will definately be trying this product. Haven't as yet, but I will.
as an aspiring rocket scientist and someone who has never tried a Perdomo but will very soon. I must say ditto.

This makes me want to try some Perdomo cigars. Which ones should I try first?

When I see an owner do this it makes me want to support them as to how they respect and do things like this for their customers. I will buy some cigars from this guy as I love the Lot 23's.

Perdomo ESV 91's are phenomenal. I usually buy the seconds of these. Easily my favorite cigar.

This is my favorite brand of cigars. Thanks for the SCHIP absorption. I would have continued to support you anyway.

Sounds like a good man! I will purchase a box of Perdomo 10th Anniversary, sounds like a good deal in these tough times.

I'll second the vote for the ESV 91's. I bought some seconds of C-bid as well and I was impressed. I've also has a slow aged which was pretty good as well.

I too am new to cigars but I hope to try some of the other blends especially since they said they will be LOWERING prices....WoooHooooo!

Re: PERDOMO shows he and his family have CLASS !!

I hate to be the cynic but I don't understand all the love for Nick Perdomo based on this announcement.

If I read this right, he is eating the cost of the tax on his premium lines and passing the tax along to his customers on the value-priced lines.

How exactly is this a classy thing to do? It's just basic economics.

He figures he can't increase the price of his premiums-- they are already priced as high as consumers as willing to pay-- so he has to take a smaller margin (clearly, he must be making a pretty big margin on those brands to begin with).

He's passing along the tax on his value lines because A) the margin's not as cushy, and B) since his competitors are also increasing prices, he figures it won't hurt sales.

Businesses make these kinds of decisions all the time. What's the big deal?

(I do love his cigars, though)
