These COHIBA ESPLENDIDOS cigars. . . REAL?

I have some pictures to show you all.

Please let me know if you believe this to be legit true and real COHIBAS.

In my limited opinion, I believe they are:
-3 rows of dots on the band over the Cohiba nam
-Certificate of authencity in 4 languages.
-The official Habanos sticker and certification

Also, overall the guy was very up front and honest about when, where he bought them.

I haven't purchased yet, but have been contacting the seller (he is in my local area.)

Get a UV light, and check the Cuban seal for the hologram. If it is there chances are they are legit (although if not there the box may be an older one w/o the hologram). Also, there should be rows of SQUARES, not dots on the band. Check the printing on the bottom of the box. you should be able to feel the fact that it is 'pushed in' like branded on the box. Check the date codes. Lotsa things to look for.

Yes there is a Vancouver in Washington too. Just wondering if counterfeit Cuban's are a common thing in places where the real thing is easy(er) to come by?

I don't have any 2010 tickets either for the same reason as you.
But there's plenty of other stuff to do and a huge public screen to watch all the games on.

Plenty of bars, pub, etc.



I hear that Cuba has more counterfeits then legit cigars. You have to buy them in state owned shops or they aren't certified.

On the other hand, I heard sometimes the counterfeits are just as good, just throw aways because of cosmetic imperfections. A lot of factory workers sell them second hand.

How much should I be looking to pay for a box of 25?

I believe he said these are 3-4 weeks old. No humidor, closed in the closet?
How dry will they be?
