Bundle/ Cheap box recommendations

I'm going to be studying abroad this fall, and I'm looking for a cheap bundle or box of smokes to stock my humi with to take with me when I leave. These will be day to day smokes, I don't need (nor can I afford) super premium sticks. I'm looking for something no more than $40 for 20+ smokes. I tend to prefer creamy, sweet smokes. Anybody have any good recommendations? Sampler packs are okay too, if anyone knows any for the right price.

Thanks for the help,
Frank

What about Old Fashioned cigars? They are supposed to be Macanudo and Partagas seconds. The 350's are supposedly the Macanudo portofino, which I think would fall into what you're looking for. I haven't ordered them yet, I'm just going by what I've read, so hopefully someone else can chime in.

Flor de Oliva is a little over $40 sometimes, but around that price range. Very good quality smokes that are made by Oliva. Thats really my only suggestion, I don't really know many other cheap bundles or box brands!

How about this: Rocky Patel Landmark Mega-Sampler - Cigars International

I know the RP Vintages are good, anybody tried the others?

I would recomend the Taboo Value Blends they are 20 for $25 but usually have some kind of code for 30% off so you could get a couple of bundles for $40. It is a nice mild smoke that is sweet and give off plenty of smoke.

You really can't beat Flor de Oliva: Flor De Oliva - Cigars International about 32 a bundle

And if you try and like the flor de then a very similar blend is the Calle Ocho: Calle Ocho - Cigars International

IMO the best cheap smoke on the market is the Benchmade by Ashton. They are blended by Don Pepin Garcia for Ashton and offer excellent taste to price ratio.

The Flor De Oliva is a great choice, as is the Perdomo Fesco.

Re: Bundle/ Cheap box recommendations

I'll 2nd the vote for Benchmades.

There are quite a few bundles of 2nd's that are decent smokes for the price. Immediately the Perdomo seconds come to mind. I've also bought a few bundles of Bacaraat seconds that were pretty good.

Tons of decent $2-$3 sticks out there.

Re: Bundle/ Cheap box recommendations

Creamy and sweet. I might try Isla Del Sol's. They have sweetened tips if you like that. Its infused with coffee beans for a nice espresso taste. They use to be $30.00 a box of 20, but recently got jacked up to over $60.00 a box. Might be able to get on cbid for cheap tho.

Another sweet creamy cigar that comes to mind would be the Nester Reserve Maduro. Coal black boxed pressed 93 rated beauties. Haven't heard anything bad on these from anyone. It isn't infused or sweetened so if you don't like those kind give this a try.

Re: Bundle/ Cheap box recommendations

Famous has some pretty good house brands. Their Honduran 5000 is mild and creamy. I think they are around 30 a bundle. They have a lot of mild Dominican house smokes too but I have not tried them. Generally their Value Line and Thousands series cigars are good quality. Something else that Famous is good about is their reviews. They will post both good and bad reviews of their cigars on their website. I give them credit for that, most sites only publish the good reviews.
Have you checked Consuegra Dominican? Perdomo 826 Slow Aged are good. Or the ESV 91 seconds on auction. Very good cigars. As someone has already said, there's a ton of good affordable smokes out there, you should have no problem filling a few coolers.
