Ahhh being 39 years old I have faint memories of when people just lived and let live. I remember riding my bike with no helmet, sitting on my Dad's lap at 5 yrs old steering the truck, sitting in the back of the truck on the wheel hump, and driving to the Desert at 5 years old listing to Jim Croce on 8 track cassette sitting next to my father with no seat belt on. Today my dad would be arrested for child endangerment. But somehow I made it to 39 without dying. Being older and knowing the risks my father took with me, I would do it all over again.

Somehow over the years we have become to believe that it is the quantity of years we live and not the quality. Everybody wants to live forever even if they have to sacrifice. I prefer to live a short but fulfilled life. So I will smoke, drink and eat a nice big steak as often as I can. If it kills me, so be it. I can't think of a better way to go... Well ok, a little better way to go is if I can smoke, drink and eat that steak with some hot Asian girl giving me a litttle somethin somethin...

What always amazes me is cigarette smokers who comment on how cigar smoke smells horrible (well, back when you could actually smoke in bars). Seriously? If you can stand the smell of cigarette smoke, i dont know how you cant stand the smell of cigar smoke. I realize cigar smoke is stronger, but imo it smells better. I just dont get it.

Think about it a bit. I think you WILL get it.
An opinion is something that belongs to THAT individual and that is all (until you find like minded people) just because you think cigar smoke smells better doesn't mean anyone else feels that way.
There, now you should "get" it.

I also love the people who smoke cigars and complain about cigarette smoke........but "HEY, it's there opinion".

I realize it's that person's opinion. I just dont know how someone could think that way. Get it?

And btw my point was that if i have to smell someone's cigarette smoke, they can deal with my cigar smoke. That was really what i was getting at. If they dont like it, whatever. If i have to smell cigarette smoke (which i dont like), they can deal with my cigar smoke (whether they like it or not).

I'll usually be a huge dick head if they say something rude or uncalled for. And I'm really good at arguing my point and making people feel stupid on a daily bases.

I am in a unique position on two counts. First I hate cigarette smoke but I just tend to walk away from it when I encounter cigarette smokers. Consequently, as a cigar smoker I tend to be very considerate of others and, like most of the rest of you, stay away from people . However, part two, a woman smoking a cigar is still a novelty and my smoking tends to draw interest than disdain. Still, all the more reason to stay away from people as I enjoy my cigar!!

It really just depends on my mood at the time. If I am in a good mood then I will usually try to be as accomodating as possible. If I am in a bad mood I just put them in the "Boston Crab' until they submit.

Yeah well it's harder for me to find places to smoke with others since I would have to be 21 to enter most bars lol.

I have smoked in one cigar shop in Old Town its nice.

Been there many times myself,,,I use to live about 3 miles from there and they are mighty proud of their cigars,,,very high priced.
