Top of the Morning, & Stepping Out of Routine
Top of the morning to you all!
This morning is special, not because it is a day that commemorates any personally important event. Its not even special due to awesome weather. Quite the contrary, it is gray and muggy out today.
This morning is special because I made it so.
I rarely have a cigar in the morning, but this morning I smoked a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 on the porch with a delicious cup of Dean'sBeans Moka Java (make that 2 1/2 cups).
Sure it is a gloomy looking day, but when I close my eyes I see sunshine and hear the birds a singin'.
Hope some of you are enjoying the same this day.

It's the same kind of day out here too haha. Thinking about lighting a smaller cigar up and havin a nice cup of coffee, or hittin the hay for another hour or so.

Living in a place where it almost never rains (about 4.5" per year on average), I would welcome a gray, wet day once in a while.

Good times.

It's sunny and low seventies in Ventura, CA today.

Going to park my carcass out in the backyard, enjoy a frosty barley pop and a stogie whose identity is has yet undetermined.

I'm leaning toward a Macanudo Maduro, however.

EDIT: I also have these El Rey Mundo Belicosos that just arrived. Perhaps those? Who knows...

Good for you Eric! Did a little ride of a couple of hundred miles on the bike, sort of hot and humid but the ride was great. Came back and am enjoying an Oliva Serie V with some rum. Somehow the day just got better!

We'll I hope everyone had a good day and an opp. to smoke a cigar.
My wife was on call, but got to come home early so went out and shared a nice dinner together. Came home and smoked my first lancero- an Oliva Serie V.
