Thoughts on first Atlantic order

So on Tuesday I'm going to call Atlantic and place an order, and I was just wondering what yous think? Maybe if you have ordered any of these packs/samplers and have input about what may be better spent on something else? Any input will be greatly appreciated. So here's what I was thinking of ordering:

Grab Bag GOLD (10 pack) - $35.00
Grab Bag PLATINUM (10 pk) - $39.95

and I was thinking of rounding out the order with :

Rocky Patel Motherload Sampler (10 pk) - $34.99

So... Am I wasting my money on these? Whatta you think?

Atlantic is a good vendor, my experience with them has been good, although I find them a bit pricey.. I personally would never order a grab bag from anybody.. When I spend my money I want to know what will be arriving at my door.

Here is an example of what you might get in one of those grab bag mixers from Atlantic. Today's Haul (10pc)

It looks to be the platinum mixer. I say go for it! You're bound to find something you really like but never thought to try. It's a great way to expand your palate. Plus, who doesn't like surprises?

I've ordered both the GOLD and the PLATINUM and have been happy with both. It's a great way to get a good variety at a decent price. I've found some gems that I otherwise would never had known about. I'm now at the point where I'm ordering specific cigars based on previous grab bag experience but I think I'll always go to a grab bag pack once in a while just to keep experimenting. I may even be daring and try the bronze/silver packs at some point.

Thanks for the input guys... I AM still discovering the sticks I like, although I haven't found too many I didn't like. What about those Rocky Patel 10 pack... any thoughts on the smokes in that bag?

I've only had the Vintage and the Edge. Love the Vintage line, make sure you fill your tummy before you smoke the Edge! The first Maduro knocked me on my @$$!

CI has a "Brown Bag" -- 10 sticks for $20 -- I have bought it twice and both times the sticks retail for a combined price of about ~45. Have never had any experience with Atlantic though

FYI, CI won't ship to Canada.
