More Noob issues...

I ordered a 5 pack of a maduro wrapped robusto that I enjoyed when I bought a single here in town. I won't say who I ordered from until the dust settles. However, my cc was not charged after 9 days. They were not answering their phone and I had kind of given up on them. I then ordered an 8 pack sampler from taboo.

I emailed the first firm and got an answer the next day. My 5 pack was indeed shipping.

So I find myself with 13 stogies coming at me at once and I don't have a humidor. I ordered a 25 - 50 ct humidor from cheap humidors dot com. All three shipments have shipped at the same time.

Assuming about a week to season my humidor, are my stogies going to be compromised? How long will they keep sans humidor?

Re: More Noob issues...

Just put them in a Tupperware (or similar) dish until your humidor is seasoned. You probably won't even need any type of humidifier in the Tupperware since it is airtight and the cigars will most likely be too humid anyway.

Re: More Noob issues...

I am a noob too!!! haha
I actually just bought and old cigar box from a local B&M $3, and a tube of Drymistat Crystal Humidification $10, and I had a humidity reader from a air conditioning. It is making a real good "humidor" until I can get a real one.

If anything I would just put them in a cigar box.

Hope everything works out.

He has no idea what he's talking about........what you should do is package them up & ship them to me, I'll make sure they're taken care of........

Hehe jk, as he said they should be just fine.

in an effort to beat this to the ground... a ziplock baggie would do the trick too.
