Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
Ok, I love having a smoke out on my deck, but most of the time I am all alone.
Anyway, my wife has tried cigars before, but once she had one that made her head spin all evening, So, I really need some suggestions on what I could get for her to get her interested again? I was thinking Acid Blondies, but that's all I can come up with... Thanks in advance! -Carl Sweet cigar deals http://www.amazingcigarbargains.com |

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
I would start with something mild, like a Macanudo, or maybe something with a distinctive smell. like some Acids. I don't care for Acids much personally, but women tend to like things with a nice smell. Some Montecristos would do the trick also, or a 5 Vegas gold or red label.

I second the Macanudo. I would also suggest some of the Fuente lines such as the Chateau Fuente lines and the flor fina 8-5-8 line. Both of these are a good introduction to cigars. They are smooth and mild and she should not get much of a nicotine effect from them.

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
My wife hated the blondie but likes the milder unflavored sticks. I know Cigar Man Andy, who has a wealth of knowledge as well as a cigar smoking wife, says she liked the CAO Moontrance.

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
My wife loves CAO Eileen's dream and Moontrance. For a regular mild Cigar, I rather enjoy the 5 Vegas Gold.

No No NO!
![]() Lets get her an Ashton Cabinet selection in a small size. Perhaps the Trés Petit - 4 3/8 x 42. Let's serve her some smooth, buttery and refreshing "J" champagne with it too. ![]() Can't miss Carl! ![]()

I have had the moontrance, and I thought it was very harsh. Not strong, but the smell was overpowering, and couldn't get the smell out of my nose even the next day. maybe that's just me though. -Carl Sweet cigar deals http://www.amazingcigarbargains.com |

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
I've been going through a selection process with the lady lately. She thought the Acid Blondie and Kuba Kuba to be alright. So far her favorites have been the Havana Sweets Honey Berry and the Flavours by CAO Cherry Bomb. She's bugging me to pickup the Flavours sampler for her now.
As for the non-flavor infused cigars, she's enjoyed the Padron 4000 Natural and an Ashton (don't know which one it was though). Good luck on your mission! ~Will |

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
Hello to all.
Its funny. My wife loves the smell of cigars(outside the house), and she actually finds it a bit of a turn on, if I can be so bold. But she never wants any cigar smell on her, so she always sits upwind from me. And if the winds shift, so does she. So when we go out on the porch, I always make available two chairs on either side of me, so she can take her pick. LOL Much regards Jerry |

I am currently batting 1000 with the RP Vintage 1990 Petit Corona. I gave a FF a Blondie on the recommendation of my B&M clerk and I was summarily cussed. The clerk later admitted she only smoked them when drunk.

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
I would recommend a Savineli ELR or an Ashton. Both are fairly mild but have good flavor

Re: Help me get my wife a cigar she would like
those acid blondies are pretty strong although they are tiny.
i have given my girl and my mother both some of those "falvours by cao" cigars, they liked the karmasutra splash and the moontrance, so i would say to try some of those out, plus they come in a few sizes and are rather inexpensive. good luck! |
