How long between smokes?

Hello Fellow Fishies,

I smoke a cigar every night after work, but on weekends, I try to smoke as many as I can. I just finished a several years old Flor Fina maduro and am already jonesing for another stick.

I know there are a few guys on here who smoke a ton of cigars. I've read Phantom, for example, say several times that he smokes 5-7 day. I'm not quite ready for the majors yet, but I'd really like to smoke several on weekend days.

For you heavy huffers, how long after you finish one, do you embark on the next. What's your indicator(s)? Do you wait for your tongue to say it's ok, or nicotine craving, or what?

Lately I am averaging 3 a day. I like to smoke late at night on the deck watching movies on my laptop ( yes, I get current movies and HBO,,SHOWTIME,,CINEMAX. That keeps me pretty busy cuz I have insomnia and go to sleep around 5 am. I will take a few sticks outside and set up everything and will smoke on cigar after another with no residual issues,,,I take flask and some Amarula ( tastes like Baileys only better ) and that takes care of any burning tongue problems.

Retirement seems to be treating you well Gary!

I can wait about an hour between smokes and be OK if I am smoking multiples in a day but make sure you eat and drink enough as last week I went to the B & M in the morning without eating b-fast and smoked a ERdM and a Padron 1926 back to back and for the first time in my smoking history, I actually felt queezy.

I usually wait about the time it takes to smoke 3 or 4 cigarettes. BTW I'm serious.

As long as I dont start feeling sick from the nicotine I will light one up right after the other one is done

Sometimes in the morning, I'll smoke a Famous Buenos Madurito, for a quick, tasty, cheap smoke. I may hit the pipe for a bowl in the afternoon, or may just skip until after dinner when I look for something smooth and enjoyable...about 1:15-1: 20 hrs worth.

I try to hold it to 2 per day . Never have smoked cigs . Maybe that's why I stay away from the Fulls .

I am not a hardcore cigar smoker, but when I smoke more than one at a time, I usually just see if I feel a little lightheaded or something like that, if not then I light up another one

second that! if Im headache and nausea free then I go for another...not to say that I normally get a headache and nauseous but you know sometimes and if thats the case then Im done for the day.

Retirement is everything it's cracked up to be, Scott,,,trust me on that. Stay up til 5 am and sleep til 2 pm and lounge at the pool or take a ride on the motorcycle. Those are good smokes you had and it doesn't matter if I eat before having a cigar or not,,,been smoking cigars for 40 years and have only gotten queezy a couple times.

On a day that i feel lke smoking alot i usualy just give it an hour in between smokes. Enough time to get up and do a few things like hit the bathroom or have a bite to eat. Stuff that i dont feel like doing while im smoking. Then i get back in the chair and enjoy another.

Usually smoke one per day but if there is time they come one right after the other.
