Too cheap to be a Padilla 32 thats why I figured the Gurkha Nepalese Warrior.. CI always has them on special and thats about the right price for a 5er on them

hmm wait cant be a Nep warrior those are 6.0 x 52

Could also be the CAO VR, but I'll still go with the Graycliff, already pulled the trigger, so we'll see how it goes!

I'm happy either way on those choices. I was overjoyed at getting the Padilla Miamis last week. I think I have joined a $17.50 per week cigar club. I cannot not pull this trigger every week. I need an intervention...

Re: JoeCigar Sunday Surprise: What`s your guess?

As already noted, the Surprise Cigars for last Sunday 9/02/09 were Padilla Miami Robustos. No one correctly guessed that cigar in this thread

For the Sunday Surprise Cigar for 9/06/09, I`ll take a guess and join Acesfull in thinking it will be a Gurkha Regent Nepalese Warrior.

I ordered two Surprise Packs. We`ll see, as they say.

Re: JoeCigar Sunday Surprise: What`s your guess?

Padilla 1932 is from Nicaragua
Gurkha Nep Warrior has a ring gauge of 52

So, those 2 don't fit the description.

CAO VR moby fits perfectly and price wise about right. Me thinks the Graycliffs are bit pricey for this deal unless ci has a lot to move.

Ray...you`re absolutely right about that 52 ring size. My bad!

Maybe it will be the "regular" Gurkha Regent Toro (which does fit the stated size)...but the Surprise price then wouldn`t be much of a discount if that`s the case. It must be something else.

I give up on accurately guessing this one so far. Maybe I`ll try to do more "research" on it later tonight.

Yup, I agree completely, but I'm still hoping for the Graycliff LOL

Re: JoeCigar Sunday Surprise: What`s your guess?

Hi Guys...

Well, as already noted by some of you folks, the last Sunday Surprise (9/6/09) was the Don Pepin Garcia Vegas Cubana.

AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.....

For the Surprise Cigar for this Sunday (9/13/09), it appears to not really be a surprise, despite the labelling as such. As discussed by the persons posting in the "Banter" section at Joe`s site, upon checkout the "Surprise Cigar" is listed as the "Quadrum." It apparently is the Alec Bradley Tempus Quadrum.

This slip-up at CI would appear to come under the classic category of "Oh Sh*t!"

Takes all the fun out of guessing when they:
A: Name the wrong Country
or
B: Just flat out tell you the answer!

LOL
