UPS screwups

Atleast with UPS I can get a live person on the line when my package does not show on time. I have even called when they say they tried to deliver a sig confirmation. Well they did not leave a notice. Dispatch sent the driver right back over with my package. USPS all you can do is that online request deal...

I've used UPS for years. I was a car tuner a couple of years ago and I received and shipped many expensive ECMs every day. Even now I get at least package a day of some kind from UPS. I've had drivers bring stacks of race tires around to my back porch so they wouldn't go missing. Other than a package being delivered the day after it was scheduled a couple of times, I've never had a problem with UPS.

Yep,,,always ensure that the store has your correct address. One letter or number off and it gets held back.

That's the odd part. I had bought from both shippers before without any delivery problems. In both cases I placed two orders within less than a week with the same vendor. In the case of both shippers, one package arrived on time and the other didn't, all addressed exactly the same (both of the wayward packages arrived today). That probably means at least a week of extra humidor time. Makes me wonder if UPS has some issues in Las Vegas.

Were your packages actually late, according to shipping tables?

Last time I shipped via UPS they delayed delivery a day to to "verifying the adress" I called to ask about it and the lady didn't knwo why since the address didn't change, was verified to being with and it was on the truck again the next day with no changes and was delivered... Not the first time I have seen this with UPS ground.

One was three days late, the other one four. That is what got me checking, because my estimated delivery dates were late last week.
