Heading to Franklin/Brentwood next weekend for a cousin's wedding. I figured a field trip would be in order. Does anyone know or have any favorite shops in the area? Any help or info is appreciated.

woodys smokes and brews is the only in the cool springs area, uptown is in green hills area, there is also tobacco road on old hickory blvd

They have a madison address but they're in Rivergate, if you know how to get to Rivergate Mall its just across the street. Maybe a little out of you way, but if you want an Opus X or any other super preminum smoke go there. They are a STOCKING Opus X dealer and ALWAYS have them. Pretty good prices and a great slection.

There is a great one in Brentwood, right beside the new Publix on Old Hickory Blvd. Olde World Leaf & Ale. Really nice B&M with a great lounge, and alot of microbrews. Owner is Ron, really nice guy. I'd say I would meet up with you for a smoke and brew, but I will be out of town this weekend.

Where in the heck is this one? I work in Brentwood and have never seen it, which just may mean I have not been paying any attention! Are you talking the new Publix going up across from Tobacco Road?

EDIT: Okay...the page was not displaying in Firefox correctly so I checked it out in IE. I see where it is. That is too close for me not to have seen it or known it was there. Thanks for the heads up!

Well, my date to be there was wrong. Just rolled in.......450mi/15 hrs later.

I did however make my field trip to Woody's . Let me tell you, that is a sweet place. I only wish I'd taken pictures. Very spacious humidor and nice brew selections. Had a Sam Adam's Summer Brew and picked up a few hitchhikers.
