Don Pepin Advice

Almost everything I smoke is made by Pepin. My Father are the cream of the crop. I prefer the No. 3 but the No. 1 is good also. Next the Tatuaje Cabinet (brown) are about as good as a cigar can be. I keep a box in each size. People tend to overlook the Cabaiguan but they are exceptional. It's much creamier than his other smokes but an amazing first cigar of the day. The Cubaos are fantastic. The wrapper on those gives it a lot of kick. The DPG Blue is the best of his line. People clamor for the whites and blacks but I've always found those to be average. If you want to get some value go for the Ambos Mundos or the Benchmade.

AGREED! Very interesting to hear that about the Tat Regios as this is my favorite as well. They seem to get even better with a little age on them. Love em!!!

601 Red labels are great. I agree with Rubix^3, I would go to my local B&M and pick up some of the great cigars that are being mentioned before you commit to a box purchase. Just to be on the safe side.

If you like DPG's cigars you "should" also like any of Pete's Tatuaje's or Dion's Illusione/Cruzado's....just my opinion.
