Vegas Cigar Shop info
I have a friend who is heading down to Vegas this week. He will be legally allowed to bring 50 cigars back into Canada duty free. Is there a decent Cigar shop on or near the strip? If so, do they have an online presence? Is Vegas a bad place to buy, tax wise?
Thank you. |

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
Try looking at Yellow Pages Local Directory - YELLOWPAGES.COM and search "Las Vegas" and then Tabbacco or Cigars etc...
Just a tip incase no-one knows of any off hand.

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
When I was in Vegas during the fall of last year, DoG in the Venetian actually surprised me that they weren't as ridiculous as I expected. Ive seen standalone B&M's with higher prices than they had. YMMV.

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
Well, the idea is to save money so if they are charging double MSRP, it sounds like a bad idea. Thanks for the quick replies.

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
Probably the best place near the Strip is Pheasant Cigars on Sahara, across the street and a bit west of Palace Station. It's a great place to sit down and smoke. It's a private club, but they welcome visitors.

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
I may be wrong, but can't you only buy the CASA FUENTE inside the shop at Ceasars? They are quite pricey, but if it's a one time deal.......... Anyway, the place is very cool and I had to pull the trigger when I was last there. They can run $30-40 each.

Re: Vegas Cigar Shop info
One of the many rules of visiting Lost Wages, is to never ever buy any luxury item within eyeshot of a major hotel.
I wanna say that's rule no. 23. Heed the advice of the locals.
