It was the real cigar (Illusione) that got him, not the Al Crapone.

I know what you mean. I'm new to these things too. Got to feeling that way while smoking a Cu-Avana Intenso. Been letting those sit in the humi while I smoke more mild cigars. Figure I'll work my up to them. A full stomach definitely helps regardless of the strength.

I'm a pretty classy guy, so I like to smoke the stronger cigars with a frosted mug'o Root Beer. "Mug" is my favorite. Sweet and sugary, and caffeine free.

I've never had this effect from smoking. Its the nicotine which causes this reaction?

I've found that hitting a cigar too fast makes me sick. I've since learned to slow down and enjoy it.

If you're not used to the nicotine in a cigar, it can really get to you... Light headedness, dizziness, ... For a non-smoker to dive into a full bodied smoke like that, I can pretty well guarantee that's what did it. I smoke at least a 'gar a day, and a few weeks back a bolivar kicked my ass!
