Tip - Cigar reamer
Well, since I'm a newbie I thought I'd jump in with a helpful tip. One day, in the garage working on my bike, the Cohiba I was smoking was ALL plugged up. Frustrated and not wanting to waste money, I snipped off the cherry, grabbed a T-shaped spring steel long allen (hex) wrench that was handy (small diameter) and carefully worked it up the center of the stick. Worked great, the spring steel is very stiff so it won't swerve out the side of the cigar like a coat hanger will (as I discovered on another occasion). This is cheaper than one of those cigar reamers they sell around, and most of us have a set of these in the toolbox.
....so there..... ![]() ![]() |

Re: Tip - Cigar reamer
I've got some 4'' long, narrow olive picks that I've used to pierce plugged cigars with.
