Gigar Lounge

Recently a buddy & I have been converting my former recording studio into a cigar lounge. So far we've removed the mic booth, patched the walls, and installed a window AC in the wall that's ever so conveniently attached the garage. I just won a Ionic Breeze Quadra on eBay so that should be here sometime next week.

I was wondering if the Ionic Breeze itself will do a good job of removing the smoke from the room along with the odor? If not what other cheap alternative should I do to vent the smoke out to the garage seeing as though its the next room over.

My next purchases for the room are a nice leather couch, electric fireplace w/ wood mantel (have my eyes on one I found on craigslist for $200), 26-32 in LCD tv, bose 321 one or equivalent sound system.

Man on man can't wait for this room this winter. WOO HOO.

Will post pictures later on.

I have a 42 lcd in my room and was tempted to put it in the lounge, but then I'd want another 42 in my room and I'm not forking out another $500 for a TV lol.

Re: Gigar Lounge

Nice hole in the wall had to cut a stud and build a frame for the AC.

This what was left of the mic booth after 20 mins with a drill.

The walls of the mic booth dismantled

Walls all patched up ready for paint tomorrow.

Will continue to update this thread.

Re: Gigar Lounge

Finally I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. For the most part the cigar lounge is complete, and furnished at the best that my wallet will allow at this time. I will eventually get a couch & matching chair, electric fireplace with wood mantel & a LCD TV to go above it.

By the way I have a humidifier I bought for $2 at a garage sale filled with distilled water and a full bottle of Febreeze, crank it up full blast for a hour after smoking and the odor is completely gone.
